Our Approach

On the physical level

Moving the body in all planes of movement does wonders for the body, keeps it supple and agile. There are benefits from all forms of exercise, its just about finding and maintaining balance for your body. If its hard playing sports you love, then maybe try some yoga or pilates to bring about more flexibility and restoration for your body. If your daily routine/work involves being sedentary for long periods of time, then maybe a fascia movement class  combined with CORE would be better, to bring both strength & mobility to the body.

If its rehabilitation you need then pilates is the one, every time. If having 121 sessions is an option then I strongly recommend it.

If you want a more meaningful practice where focus is on breath, energy, mind & body then try Hatha Yoga, where the polarities of the body & mind are steadily worked on, to bring to union.

In 10 sessions you will feel the difference. In 20 you will see the difference. And in 30, you will be on your way to having a whole new body." - Joseph Pilates

On the Holistic level

A holistic approach means thinking about the big picture. In a medical setting holistic refers to addressing the whole person, including their physical, mental, and emotional health, while taking social factors into consideration.Sometimes the cause of pain, stress or discomfort is something more deep rooted, no matter how you move the body the pain can come back again, and so it is nor just on a "Physical Level", but more integrated into the psyche. Which could of been caused by a past trauma, or behaviour or a present situation, a life that is not as fulfilling as it once was. A painful situation can take a hold on you, like the playing of a sad song repeating over and over again and as time goes on the longevity of this heaviness can take its toll not just on the mind but then show up in the body.

This is where I find using alternative therapies such as Kinesiology, Astrology and Crystals to be healing and supportive, working through the process of the past, present or worries for the future can help. - Click here to read more
